Adam Kinzinger is Accusing Trump of Being Anti-Law Enforcement

The January 6 committee has two Republicans in its ranks: Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois. Both of these GOP members have been clear they’re not fans of Trump and actually view him as a danger to the United States.

This naturally earned them massive pushback from those in the Republican Party who actually do support the 45th president and don’t believe he’s a danger to democracy.

Nevertheless, both Cheney and Kinzinger remain outspoken about their dislike for the former president and the role they believe he had in the January 6 attack.

The Illinois Republican argued that Trump is doing this via riling up his supporters. The Never Trump Republican likewise pushed back against the former president’s claims that the FBI raid was unwarranted and a form of political persecution.

Later, Kinzinger told CNN that some Republicans believe the government is directly out to get them. This came after he argued some of the former president’s supporters are posting pictures of firearms on the internet and saying they’re coming for the FBI.
