Joe Biden has claimed that the recent, damaging, news stories about his son’s business activities are a result of Russian covert activities. This is despite his son openly admitting that he was under federal investigation.
“Mr. President-Elect, on Russian disinformation,” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy began, “Mr. President-Elect, do you still think that the stories from the fall about your son Hunter were Russian disinformation and a smear campaign like you said?”
“Yes. Yes. Yes. God love you, man. You’re a one-horse pony, I’ll tell you,” Biden responded. “Thank you. Thank you. I promise you my Justice Department will be totally on its own making its judgments about how they should proceed.”

The New York Post ran a story in October about a series of emails found on a laptop that belonged to Hunter Biden. The emails revealed that “Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings and raised new questions about Joe Biden’s claims that he never spoke to his son about his business dealings.” Daily Wire reported.
The Daily Wire added that “many mainstream news organizations either ignored reporting on it or ran stories suggesting that the reports were part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”

“Earlier this month, Hunter Biden revealed that he was under federal criminal investigation over his financial dealings, specifically his taxes. Subsequent reports from CNN and Politico revealed that the criminal investigation was likely more expansive than just Hunter Biden’s taxes and may be focused on his foreign business dealings, specifically with China.” Daily Wire reported.
CNN’s report said that authorities were investigating “multiple financial issues” including whether Hunter Biden “violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China.”
In another report, we learned that Hunter Biden did in fact work with his father on these business dealings.
In an email dated September 21, 2017, Hunter Biden wrote to Cecilia Browning, the general manager of an office building called “House of Sweden,” requesting that “keys” be “made available for new office mates.”
Hunter Biden listed the “new office mates” as being Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Jim Biden, and Gongwen Dong (Chairman Ye CEFC emissary). Hunter Biden also requested a sign made for his office that stated “The Biden Foundation” and “Hudson West (CEFC US).” Daily Wire reported.
