The former DHS Secretary, Chad Wolf, has slammed Biden for blaming the border crisis on Donald Trump. It is bizarre that Biden would blame Trump, as, under the Trump administration, there was no border crisis. It started almost immediately after Trump left office.

Biden accused Wolf’s team of not sharing information with the incoming Biden transition team. Wolf said this was an absolute lie: “While I respect the Presidency, this is a pure lie. The admin is looking for any reason to explain the crisis they created. We briefed the transition team numerous, numerous times,” Wolf said.

“And the reference to firing officials is lunacy. Someone might want to remind the Admin that firing a federal employee is near impossible. The media needs to hold the Admin accountable for lying to the American people,” Wolf said.

Biden had said that the crisis is a result of “the failure to have a real transition — cooperation from the last administration, like every other administration has done,” according to NBC News.

“The two departments that didn’t give us access to virtually anything were the immigration and the Defense Department,” Biden said.

The public greatly disapproves of Biden’s handling of the border crisis.
According to the Daily Wire:

A large majority of Americans believe the border situation is a crisis and do not approve of how President Joe Biden is handling it, according to a recent CNN poll.

Of those polled, 78% view what is going on at the border as a crisis, compared to only 19% who believe otherwise. CNN also determined that 65% of voters disapprove of how Biden is handling the situation, which contrasts sharply with the 29% who approve.

The poll, which questioned 1,004 people between April 21-26 with a margin of error of 3.6 points, also discerned that the chaos at the border has led voters to lose enthusiasm regarding Biden’s overall immigration agenda. Those who disapproved of how the president is handling immigration polled at 53%, compared to 41% who approve. The Daily Wire reported.

Biden is also in hot water after taking his time in banning travel from India, a country experiencing huge growth in coronavirus cases and deaths. Critics slammed him for criticizing Donald Trump when he banned travel from China almost immediately after the outbreak.

“Biden is expected to impose new travel restrictions on India starting Tuesday in light of the COVID-19 epidemic, barring most non-U.S. citizens from entering the United States,” Reuters reported. “The new restrictions are on the advice of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and are imposed ‘in light of extraordinarily high COVID-19 case loads and multiple variants circulating in India.’”
