Biden’s Open Border Policies Claim More Victims Than Most Terrorist Organizations

On December 15, 2021, Biden released an executive order in regard to the global drug trade and its impact on the US, claiming it to be an unusual and major threat to both our national security and our economy.

Yet, despite his concerns about the flow of drugs into the US, Biden did nothing to secure the southern border, which has been one of the main facets for smuggling drugs into the country for decades on end.

Drugs, criminals flock into US as border crisis rages on

In the last six months alone, Border Patrol agents have apprehended over 1.2 million illegal immigrants, with nearly one million getting away scot-free. We have no information on who these people are, what their goals in the US are, and who sent them.

Additionally, due to the Border Patrol working overtime on processing the caught migrants, Mexican and South American drug cartels are taking advantage of the situation, flooding the US market with drugs like fentanyl.

Last weekend, during the annual “Lost Voices of Fentanyl” rally in Washington, the most common question among those grieving the deaths of their loved ones was why the White House isn’t doing anything about this.

The ongoing drug crisis, caused inadvertently by the border crisis, is killing well over 300 young Americans every single day. The overall kill count amounts to more than every terrorist organization known to mankind.

12,000 pounds of fentanyl seized in 2022

The Biden administration spent a better part of a month whining about the thousands of migrants being bused into self-proclaimed “sanctuary cities.” However, they didn’t spare a single word to talk about how the issue could be solved by tightening border security.

If the deaths of thousands of Americans weren’t enough, the open border policies are also indirectly enriching the drug cartels.

These policies are making cartels billions of dollars with every day the border remains open, allowing them to continue their smuggling and sex trafficking operations without repercussions.

Last year alone, the DEA seized enough fentanyl from drug smugglers crossing the border to kill every American in the country.

The most recent numbers from Orange County, CA show that fentanyl-related deaths have spiked by over 2,200% in the past five years. Last year’s 11,000 pounds seized by the CBP have already been topped in the first 11 months of the 2022 fiscal year.

The only real solution is for the White House to establish a communication with Mexican authorities in order to crack down on the fentanyl trade happening at the border, as well as the labs processing it down south.

Our kids need to be educated on the dangers of this deadly drug, as soon as humanly possible. Even then, our #1 priority should be securing the border and closing the drug pipeline into the US.
