President Joe Biden has instructed the US Intelligence Community to redouble their efforts in probing the sources of the coronavirus outbreak; since this, the editor of China’s state-run Global Times reportedly warned that communist China must prepare for nuclear war with the US.

This is rather an inflammatory commentary from a country that still insists on innocence over the origins and intentions of the COVID-19 virus that has killed over two million people worldwide.

It is, however, in line with what we have witnessed the Chinese military doing over the past decade. Not only are they developing at a lightning pace, but they are also behaving aggressively towards their adversary, namely Taiwan.

Media personality Hu Xijin made the statement on Chinese social media “soon after” Biden delivered the order to the US Intelligence Community to probe the pandemic’s origins, according to Australian journalist James Morrow. Several times throughout the order, China was expressly mentioned.

The Origins of COVID-19

Experts believe that the epidemic started in Wuhan, but social media sites like Facebook and others have banned posts that claim the virus started in a lab until recently.

However, in recent weeks, a rising number of stories have suggested that the virus may have originated in the Wuhan facility; this prompted calls for explanations from members of President Joe Biden’s cabinet.

According to a previously unpublished US intelligence dossier, three Wuhan Institute researchers were put into hospitals in November 2019. Their symptoms compared to COVID-19, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Multiple lab researchers at a hub reviewing a series of infections (including COVID-19) were sick in Autumn 2019. Their symptoms were consistent with both COVID-19 and ordinary seasonal illness, according to a State Department information sheet released during the final days of the Trump administration.

On the day before the World Health Organization’s decision-making body met (which is likely to consider the next step of a probe into COVID-19’s origins) the number of researchers, the timing of their illnesses, and their hospital visits were revealed.

Fauci Backtracks

Dr. Anthony Fauci has frequently stated that the virus began in a bat; now, though, he appears to be backtracking on his prior statement that the virus naturally spread from animals to humans, as Republicans on Capitol Hill demanded more information.

As Republican lawmakers demand answers and leading scientists admit the virus could have originated in a Chinese facility, a top Biden cabinet member asked last week that the World Health Organization (WHO) begin a more “open” probe into the virus’s origins.

In an address to the World Health Assembly, a conference organized by the WHO, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra made an interesting admission. He stated on Tuesday that impartial specialists from around the world must be permitted to fully analyze the source of the virus and the early days of the outbreak.
