Andrew Duncomb, a 25-year-old African-American video journalist was stabbed by rioters outside Portland’s federal courthouse. After the event, Duncomb said, “I was stabbed for being a conservative journalist.”
Duncomb had gone to Portland from his home in California to report on the rioting at the federal courthouse there.
Powerful segment just now on Tucker Carlson with Andrew Duncomb, the Black conservative journalist, who was stabbed by an Antifa member during the riots in Portland. Did not realize he was stabbed in the back just inches from his spine/spinal cord.

Duncomb says “My main goal was to show that it wasn’t just the feds creating the problems.”
Portland has seen two months of daily BLM-inspired rioting despite being one of America’s whitest cities, like Seattle, which has also been exceptionally plagued by the riots. Early in July, Trump sent in federal law enforcement officers to protect the federal buildings in Portland. The move has been criticized by the rioters and their supporters. The BLM website links to ActBlue, a funding hub for the Democratic Party.
The Democrats have claimed that the protests are peaceful but late at night explosives have been thrown at the courthouse and federal officers have lost their sight, possibly permanently, after rioters shined lasers at them. The rioters have also torn down the fence protecting the courthouse.
Federal officers have used tear gas and impact munitions to try to keep the rioters at bay.
Duncomb enjoys a large following on social media. This gave unsympathetic parties the chance to know he was coming to Portland and to help the rioters identify and attack him.
Duncomb was stabbed before dawn on Saturday. A group of rioters began following him before Duncomb decided to confront them.
A video shot by Duncomb’s friend shows the journalist asking the masked rioter, “Hey buddy, why are you following us?” while putting his hand on the rioter’s shoulder.
The video shows the rioter responding only by stabbing Duncomb in his lower back.
Stabbing caught on video, perp in custody
Duncomb described the moment, “The adreneline just soared through me. I had a can of bear mace and a knife on me, too. But I didn’t want to endanger innocent bystanders.”
Duncomb was able to leave the hospital the following day.
According to court records, police arrested Blake David Hampe, 43, at the scene of the crime. Hampe remains in jail. It appears he is unable to post bail or hire a lawyer.
Duncomb has said, “I wasn’t meant to die. It wasn’t my time to go. I’m not going to let them intimidate me for going back out.”
