Over a broadcast on Iranian State TV, it was announced that the Biden Administration just released 7 billion dollars to Iran in exchange for a prisoner swap. The money was apparently released for four Americans held prisoner there, accused of spying.
“Iran’s envoy to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, said the report could not be confirmed, adding that Tehran has always called for a full prisoner exchange with Washington,” Reuters reported. “The state TV, quoting an unidentified Iranian official, also said British-Iranian national Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe would be released once Britain had paid off a debt on military equipment owed to Tehran.”
State Department spokesperson Ned Price denied the claims made by Iranian TV: “Reports that a prisoner swap deal has been reached are not true.” “As we have said, we always raise the cases of Americans detained or missing in Iran,” Price said. “We will not stop until we are able to reunite them with their families.”

White House chief of staff Ron Klain also denied the claim: “I can tell you, unfortunately, that report is untrue.” “There is no agreement to release these four Americans,” Klain said. “We’re working very hard to get them released. We raised this with Iran and our interlocutors all the time. But so far there’s no agreement to bring these four Americans home.”
This is not the first time Iran has made headlines recently. as Conservative Cardinal reported last week:
In a shocking new audio leak from Iran, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was caught on tape speaking with an economist. from the recording, we have learned that the former Secretary of State John Kerry revealed sensitive information about Israel’s military actions in Syria.
The New York Times originally broke the story with other conservative publications following suit. It’s unlikely this will break news with the liberal media, any criticism of the Obama or Biden is strictly prohibited at these one-sided stations.
The Daily Wire compiled a list of 3 main points taken from the New York Times article and the leaked audio.
- Former Secretary of State John Kerry informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times, to his astonishment, Mr. Zarif said.
- Zarif said the Revolutionary Guards Corps call the shots, overruling many government decisions and ignoring advice.
- [Zarif] also says that by assassinating [Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani, the commander of the Guards’ elite Quds Force] in Iraq, the United States delivered a major blow to Iran, more damaging than if it had wiped out an entire city in an attack.
