Fight Night, Trump vs Biden, The first presidential debate.

Both President Trump and Joe Biden have been making the preparations they both deem necessary for tonight’s debates. President Trump has strayed away from the regular mock debates, saying “Sometimes you can go too much in that stuff,”. Joe Biden is sticking to tradition by engaging in mock standoffs with a pretend Trump.

Biden plans to hit out at the president saying the following: “I’m prepared to go out and make my case as to why I think he’s failed and why I think the answers I have to proceed will help the American people, the American economy and make us safer internationally,” Biden said, arguing that Trump won’t convince voters with broadsides because “the people know the president is a liar.”

President Trump had considered bringing up Hunter Biden and former Senate staffer Tara Reade’s allegation that Biden sexually assaulted her in the 90s. But Trump’s team felt that the topics for the debate tonight do not cover any of the above issues and are drafted in a way that makes it easy for Biden to tackle “Trump’s failures”.

“The president prepares by being president,” Trump campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh reportedly said. “And by regularly facing hostile news media. That’s pretty good practice by any measure.” Fox News Reported.

Joe Bidens Fitness

Laura Trump gave her insight into Joe Biden’s debate prep: “Joe Biden spent a lot of time in his basement to study up. He’s been in this game for 47 years. I assume he’ll do OK,” “Quite frankly, the bar has been lowered so much for Joe Biden that if he stays awake for the whole thing it’s like maybe he won.”

Joe Biden has been criticized recently over his blunders and incoherence during television interviews. There have also been serious questions over his fitness to hold office should he win the election. To support this claim, Biden has been caught several times using a teleprompter during live interviews.

The debate topics

The first topic is Trump’s and Biden’s records. We suspect Trump will attack Biden on his track record on incarceration bills and the tough stance he has taken on African American inmates in the past. Biden will have a hard time tackling the President on his foreign policy but will likely attack Trump’s trade war with China among others.

Another topic is the Supreme Court. The democrats and Joe Biden are outraged over Trump’s quick nomination of a new supreme court, forgetting that they did the same thing in 2016. Trump should have no problem defending himself here.

Other then COVID-19, the economy and Race violence are on the table for discussion. Biden’s only strategy on the economy would be to put all the credit on President Obama. This strategy never usually works however as you cannot say the economy is good because of Obama, and then blame Trump for ruining the economy in the same argument.

The Trump administration has a lot of ammunition with regards to the racial violence, from a slow democrat response to some leaders actively encouraging the violence and destruction. Trump will also most likely use the democrats holding up the relief fund as a line of attack.

Another topic that the President is likely to excel in is the discussion around the integrity of the election, especially now that widespread voter fraud is being investigated nationwide.
