In a shocking new audio leak from Iran, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was caught on tape speaking with an economist. from the recording, we have learned that the former Secretary of State John Kerry revealed sensitive information about Israel’s military actions in Syria.
The New York Times originally broke the story with other conservative publications following suit. It’s unlikely this will break news with the liberal media, any criticism of the Obama or Biden is strictly prohibited at these one-sided stations.
The Daily Wire compiled a list of 3 main points taken from the New York Times article and the leaked audio.
- Former Secretary of State John Kerry informed him that Israel had attacked Iranian interests in Syria at least 200 times, to his astonishment, Mr. Zarif said.
- Zarif said the Revolutionary Guards Corps call the shots, overruling many government decisions and ignoring advice.
- [Zarif] also says that by assassinating [Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani, the commander of the Guards’ elite Quds Force] in Iraq, the United States delivered a major blow to Iran, more damaging than if it had wiped out an entire city in an attack.
This is the second time Iran has made headlines recently, they appeared under the spotlight after Israel hacked and damaged Irans Nuclear facilities. The Times of Israel reported at the time:
“In the early hours of Sunday morning, the underground Natanz facility suffered an electrical disruption in what was widely speculated to be an Israeli cyberattack. The disruption at Natanz appears to have been designed to counter Iran’s efforts to raise pressure on the United States by amassing greater quantities of uranium and enriching it to higher levels as the two sides negotiate a return to the 2015 nuclear deal.”
Popular conservatives took to Twitter to talk about the breaking news:
Miko Pompeo said:
“Our Administration’s exquisite strike on Qasem Soleimani had a massive impact on Iran and the Middle East, You don’t have to take my word for it, ask @JZarif . President Biden still thinks it was a mistake.”
Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the non-partisan Foundation for Defense of Democracies said:
“Zarif has no power, as he now admits, but his mendacity on behalf of the brutal regime continues to beguile naive westerners who pretend he does. They are unwittingly (or, in some cases, wittingly) serving the IRGC and Khamenei.”
Tim Morrison, who was on Trump’s National Security Council said:
“The Biden Administration is repeating the mistakes of the Obama Administration,” Morrison said. “It’s making concessions to get nothing more than a meeting. The Iran deal was dangerously flawed in 2015. In 2021, with key provisions expired, it’s simply national security malpractice to return to that deal. The Trump Administration bequeathed Biden tremendous leverage over Iran—it must not squander it.”
