Harris Believes That Relations With China Remain Unchanged

Vice President Kamala Harris stated on Tuesday that China’s choice to deploy surveillance aircraft into American airspace shouldn’t have an effect on the United States’ relationship with that nation.

Harris Says Nothing Has Changed

In a Tuesday appearance with Politico, Harris noted the United States would prefer to have healthy competition with China, instead of having a war or having a confrontation. Hence, that’s why she feels the way she does.

When the journalist asked Harris if she thought the relationship with the nation of China will be impacted, Harris said she did not think that it would.

From one angle, a person can understand this, as avoiding a war is probably a top priority for the American government. Others may disagree and find it imperative that America does not allow China to get away with invading its airspace. Both arguments have merit.

According to authorities, no harm has been done since the spy balloon did not capture anything that a normal person could not access using Google Earth.

After President Biden authorized the shooting down of a Chinese surveillance aircraft off the coast of South Carolina, ties between the U.S. and China have deteriorated.

In recent times, China has flown numerous espionage balloons into American airspace; however, this latest one happens to be the very first one to be shot out of the sky.

China continues to claim the object was an errant weather balloon, but U.S. authorities have rejected this claim, stating that the object was obviously capable of spying.

The determination of China to violate American sovereignty has outraged several senators on Capitol Hill. After China’s airship and several other unexplained “items” were shot down recently, Biden has yet to speak to the country and address the very obvious issue.

Over the past weekend, the U.S. military destroyed such “items” over Alaska, Canada, and Lake Huron. Although U.S. and Canadian soldiers are attempting to retrieve the wreckages from all three locations, no significant findings have been discovered or made public.

In the meantime, the cargo from China’s surveillance balloon in the Atlantic was recovered by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard by using a crane ship. According to the authorities, the sector was devoid of electronics and other technology for FBI inspection.

Some People Suspect Aliens

Throughout a Monday report session at the White House, National Security Council aide John Kirby renounced the widely held belief that the additional three “items” were created by extraterrestrials.

Despite NORAD Gen. Glen VanHerck’s assertion that he was not eliminating any options, he also assured journalists there isn’t any cause for alarm among Americans over aliens.

Kirby stated it was his opinion that American civilians should not be concerned about extraterrestrials.
