The Vice President of the United States has hinted that Biden will likely use an executive order to bring about stricter gun control.

“I actually thought that Sandy Hook would have been the thing that moved Congress … when … babies were slaughtered And they did not act, and they did not act, it’s time for Congress to act and stop with the false choices. This is not about getting rid of the Second Amendment. It’s simply about saying we need reasonable gun safety laws.”

“There’s no reason why we have assault weapons on the streets of civil society. They are weapons of war.” “They are designed to kill a lot of people quickly. We all agree that we need background checks.” The is in fact with this claim, AR 15s which she is referring to, are not weapons of war, nor are they assault weapons. The AR 15 can only fire semi-automatically, meaning when the trigger is pulled, one bullet is fired.

“Let’s just be practical and agree, people who have been found to be a danger to themselves and others should not be able to purchase a gun,” Harris falsely suggested.

This is not the only time Harris has made the headlines this week, she has been criticized for laughing when asked by reporters if she intended to visit the border at some point.

“With the move, Biden hopes to show Americans he’s taking the border situation seriously after facing stiff criticism from Republicans as the flow of migrants has increased since he took office in January,” The Associated Press reported.

“But the high-profile assignment for Harris, who ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 and is expected to run for the White House again in the future, could be politically fraught.”

CBS pressed Harris on the issue. The Vice President admitted that the Biden’s border crisis is “a huge problem.”

“I’m not gonna pretend it’s not,” she continued. “It’s a huge problem.” The Daily Wire reported.

The Washington Post pointed out that despite a building crisis on the border:  “Biden immediately embarked on an aggressive strategy to roll back Trump administration policies. On his first day, Biden suspended border wall construction, affirmed protections for young immigrant “dreamers,” scrapped Trump’s ban on travel from seven majority-Muslim countries, and ordered a 100-day moratorium on deportations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He also sent a broad immigration overhaul proposal to Congress, including an eight-year pathway to citizenship for immigrants without legal status.”
