Zach Loesch received a phone call from Biden on Friday, thanking him and his fellow Coast Guard members for rescuing the lives of Floridians trapped by Hurricane Ian’s wreckage.
Just after calling, the president bragged about it and the White House released a news release about their conversation.
Loesch is To Be Discharged
However, pursuant to the Biden administration’s August 2021 military vaccine mandate, Loesch is expected to be discharged from the Coast Guard in 30 to 60 days for just being unvaccinated, according to Breitbart News.
In a discussion with Breitbart News on Saturday, Loesch stated he filed for a religious exemption from the requirement; however, both his application and an appeal had been turned down.
Now that hurricane season arrived, Loesch and other unvaccinated Coast Guard rescue divers will be expelled. According to Loesch, the Coast Guard is already using rescue swimmers from neighboring states to assist with rescue operations in the impacted areas.
For six years, Loesch worked as a rescue swimmer. He personally assisted a crippled couple on Friday by removing them from their back bedroom, which had a passageway blocked by a couch.
To free them both, the hero punched through a wall. Later, as he was being lifted by a chopper, he returned to get her specialized wheelchair and strapped it to his body.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn stated on Twitter that COVID is over, quoting Joe Biden.
He continues to fire our heroic military personnel, like Zach Loesch of the Coast Guard’s Rescue Swim Team. In order to free an elderly couple trapped by Hurricane Ian, Zach punched through a wall.
Bryan Griffin, the press secretary for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, stated the Florida State Guard is now accepting applications and does not require vaccinations.
8,000 Service Members Terminated
The vaccine requirement enforced on every servicemember has been refuted by the Biden administration. In the face of a recruitment crisis, the directive has so far led to the termination of over 8,000 service members.
Tens of thousands more military members remain unvaccinated, among whom are those awaiting the outcome of their claims for religious exemptions.
According to Breitbart News, there are also legal concerns regarding whether the mandate is legitimate.
“Despite Biden thanking Loesch for saving people’s lives Loesch is due to be kicked out from the Coast Guard in 30-60 days due to Biden’s own mandate that all members of the United States Armed Forces be fully vaccinated…” https://t.co/DSkvek7lB9

Unless he requests presidential authorization, the defense secretary is only authorized by law to require an FDA-approved vaccine.
Biden has not yet granted the waiver. The Department of Defense is still giving soldiers a vaccine that is only authorized for urgent use and has not received FDA approval.
The comirnaty vaccine, which received FDA approval, has not been readily accessible in the United States, much less to duty personnel.
According to a Breitbart News article from last week, the DOD debated allowing troops to stay until the FDA-approved vaccine was available in October 2021 before deciding against it.
Several cases have been brought up by servicemembers who claim the DOD is not abiding by the law.
