DeSantis’ autobiography is seen as another step by the Florida governor toward his 2024 presidential election campaign. The book, which is scheduled to be published on February 28, 2023, discusses DeSantis’ life in detail.
Reportedly, the book will explain DeSantis’ journey from a school-going kid to the governor of one of the most important states in America.
DeSantis has seen a major surge in his popularity since the conclusion of the midterm elections. He is considered a mastermind behind Republicans’ victory in the House.
His successful COVID response strategy, without implementing chronic restrictions, and tackling the far-left propaganda in schools, have earned him support in many conservative circles.

Publishers of DeSantis’ book claim the book will widely discuss all the issues that raised DeSantis to national prominence.
In his book, DeSantis wrote down his complete thought process behind establishing a workable strategy against coronavirus, critical race theory, and woke businesses.
Furthermore, DeSantis promises to hold the elite of the country accountable just like he did in Florida. According to DeSantis, Florida is an example that average Americans are not helpless in front of the elites, who have pushed America behind.
This will not be the first book of DeSantis, however. Previously, he also wrote another book in 2011.
In this book, he explained the reasons why conservatives turned towards the founding principles of the United States when Obama wanted to pursue a transformational change in the country.

Book Writing is a Ritual Among Presidential Nominees
Writing a book is considered a ritual among presidential candidates. Former Vice President Mike Pence is also doing a nationwide tour these days to promote his new autobiography.
Just like DeSantis, Pence is also likely to announce his presidential campaign soon.
Apart from that, Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor, also wrote a book that was published this October. Haley is also expected to run for the White House in 2024.
Furthermore, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who is another potential Republican nominee for the 2024 election, also wrote his own book to make headlines before the presidential election.
While DeSantis has not announced his presidential campaign yet, he hinted towards running for the White House. During his recent address to the Republican Jewish Coalition, DeSantis claimed Americans have much to achieve and he is only starting to fight.
DeSantis and Trump are likely to be the two major competitors in the Republican primaries for 2024. In the latest polls, DeSantis is leading Trump, as many conservatives are now distancing themselves from Trump after the midterm elections.
