Armed with some top-notch US weapon systems, Ukraine is pummeling the Russian invaders into oblivion.
Moscow was forced into a humiliating move – reducing the number of troops and military equipment for major military exercises with China, simply because it doesn’t have enough to commit as it is getting pounded badly in a real war.
Pounded Along 800-Mile Front
Ukraine has been pressing Russian invaders occupying the Kherson region in the deep south of the country. Ukrainian defenders also appear to be putting western weapons to great use in other capacities.
For instance, new aerial video footage emerged from the vicinity of the city of Kharkiv, showing how Ukrainian artillery is blowing up a Russian 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer.
More drone footage has just shown how the 93rd Brigade of the Ukrainian military is destroying a group of Russian soldiers on patrol elsewhere in Eastern Ukraine, The Daily Mail reported.
A social media post by the Ukrainian military said the target was found and marked by the country’s National Guard. It was hit by the artillery of its Ukrainian Armed Forces, in what it described as virtuoso work.
It noted the howitzer in question is a light tank with a 152mm caliber cannon, and a range of about 13 miles.

#Ukraine: Ukrainian artillery fire forced Russian troops to abandon their BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle in the vicinity of Izium, #Kharkiv Oblast.
Some close hits can be observed and given the thin armor of BMP-2, it is highly likely that the vehicle received serious damage. pic.twitter.com/KKms9s9ggp— 🇺🇦 Ukraine Weapons Tracker (@UAWeapons) September 1, 2022
#Ukraine: What is possibly the longest tank-to-tank kill ever – a Ukrainian T-64BV tank crew reportedly managed to destroy a Russian tank from a distance of 10600 meters in indirect fire mode using 125mm HE-FRAG projectiles. As claimed, it took 20 projectiles to finish the tank. pic.twitter.com/Rv05uTJroC

Far Fewer Russian Troops to Train with Communist China
Oleksiy Arestovych, an advisor to Ukraine’s heroic President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commented that the offensive to liberate Kherson from Russians is being carried out quite meticulously.
It’s destroying Putin’s logistics, weapons, and fuel depots, as opposed to head-on attacks as Ukraine seeks to keep alive every single one of its service personnel.
While he admitted this approach would yield “no quick wins,” he contrasted it to the head-on attacks by Russians, which resulted in a giant squander of Russian soldier lives.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense made a public announcement that must have been particularly humiliating.
It contained the numbers of service personnel and military equipment that Moscow sent to participate in giant war games with its partner China in the Russian Far East.
The Russian participation count is much smaller compared with four years ago, clearly courtesy of Putin’s disastrous war against Ukraine and giant losses incurred by the overtly incompetent Russian military.
Russia is joining China this year with only 50,000 troops and 5,000 units of military equipment, a force that is six times smaller than what it was in 2018.
Experts believe even those figures, however, are probably substantially inflated. On top of that, there were similar doubts back in 2018 as well. This does not come as a shock, considering how prone to lying the Russian regime has proven itself to be.
