Russia has charged that the US is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine.
The US, according to a spokeswoman for Moscow’s Defense Ministry, is authorizing objectives for the Himars artillery that Kyiv’s soldiers utilize.
The Facts
Intercepted communications between Ukrainian government authorities, according to Lt. Gen. Igor Konashenkov, connected the dots. The BBC was unable to confirm this report.
US government representatives did not immediately respond to the accusations. Previously, Russia said the United States was waging a “regional conflict” in Ukraine.
It's not just critics who say that US policy in Ukraine is to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.
Here's @LindseyGrahamSC saying that as long as the US arms Ukraine, "they will fight to the last person." And four months in, he says, "I like the structural path we're on here." pic.twitter.com/1fntZG7cjQ

The rocket launch system, is much more potent than Ukraine’s previous cold war era arty and can fire missiles up to 70 kilometers (45 miles) distant from their target.
They are said to be more accurate than their Russian counterparts.
Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov said in April that NATO was basically fighting Russia via a surrogate and equipping that proxy as a consequence of President Biden’s choice to provide Ukraine with billions of USD worth of weapons.
The 72-year-old said, “War means war.”
Russia has been charged with various war crimes and human rights violations throughout the Ukrainian conflict.
Ukraine charged Moscow this week with bombing a jail in Donetsk, which is controlled by separatists, in order to hide claims of abuse.
Additionally, the Russian army and security agencies are accused of torturing and abusing Ukrainian detainees, according to reports from the BBC.
President Biden’s announcement that he would give Kiev more long-range missiles prompted accusations from Russia that the US was attempting to prolong the conflict in Ukraine.
The US is “deliberately pouring gasoline to the fire” with the delivery, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. Such supplies, he continued, “do not increase the Ukrainian leadership’s readiness to begin peace talks.”
Additionally, the German government also pledged to send Ukraine an air defense system.
The IRIS-T system, according to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, represents the most advanced technology Germany possesses and will allow Ukraine to protect an entire city from Russian air assaults.
Are We to Blame?
Sergei Lavrov, the foreign affairs minister of Russia, denounced the delivery and claimed Biden’s declaration raised the possibility of a “third nation” being drawn into the battle.
The long-range missiles will enable Ukrainian soldiers to more effectively, and from a greater distance, engage enemy forces.
Russian Ministry of Defense claims it destroyed two of Ukraine's HIMARS rocket artillery systems, and posts video to prove it. Prior to Kyiv’s promises, the US had earlier been reluctant to transfer the weapons out of concern that they would be used against Russian targets.
On Wednesday, Biden said the deadly assistance would improve Kiev’s negotiation position with Russia and increase the likelihood of a diplomatic resolution.
The new arsenal will comprise four M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Launchers, according to a top US official (HIMARS).
“These are long-range, precision-guided weapons. These technologies will be extremely helpful for high-value objectives that allow them to relieve some of the burden on Ukrainian forces on the front lines,” Dr. Colin H. Kahl, the assistant secretary of defense, stated.
