The Biden Administration has been strangely quiet over the middle east. It comes as no surprise tho, the administration is clearly trying to tiptoe between their anti-Israel leftist ideology and America’s inherent desire to protect Israel, coming from its Christian culture.

Biden was asked by a reporter: “Are you concerned about the violence in the Middle East, and can you talk about what conversations you have had with officials there?”

“My national security staff and defense staff has been in constant contact with their counterparts in the Middle East, not just with the Israelis, but also with everyone from the Egyptians, to the Saudis, to the Emirates, etc.,” Biden said. “And I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu not too long ago; I’ll be putting out a statement very shortly on that. My expectation and hope is that this will be closing down sooner than later.” The Daily Wire reported.

Biden did admit that Israel had the right to defend itself, however, he never called out Hamas for its attacks against Israeli civilians.

“But Israel has a right to defend itself when you have thousands of rockets flying into your territory,” Biden continued. “But I had a conversation for a while with the prime minister of Israel, and I think that my hope is that we’ll see this coming to conclusion sooner than later.”

In France, the military, including retired and current members, has sent a letter to the French Government over its concerns. The letter hover has received harsh criticisms from members of the Government.

Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire said that the letter is “is a waste of time and offers no solution. There is no laissez-faire in France. Yes, there is a political Islamism that is trying to break up the country, and we are fighting it.”

Jean-Luc Melenchon, who leads the France Unbowed party called the letter: “mutinous and cowardly.”

“We are in a time of a loss of values,” Fauvergue said. “These soldiers are talking about insecurity, repeated attacks against institutions such as the police, the army, and it’s the reality, it’s a reality that is acknowledged by politicians.”

Here is an extract from the letter:

“Many of us have suffered enemy fire, Many have offered their lives to destroy the Islamism to which you are making concessions on our soil. We have seen the abandoned suburbs with our own eyes. We have endured attempts to exploit religious communities, for which France means nothing, is nothing but the object of sarcasm, contempt, and hatred. We marched on July 14th. We see communitarianism taking hold in the public space, in the public debate. We see the hatred of France and her story becoming the norm.”

Recent days have seen Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas launching a massive rocket attack against Israel. To date, there have been over 1000 rocket launches against Israeli civilians.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a comment:

“Yesterday and today, the IDF attacked hundreds of Hamas & Islamic Jihad terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. We have eliminated dozens of terrorists, including senior commanders,” “Hamas and Islamic Jihad have paid — I tell you here — will pay a very heavy price for their aggression. I say here this evening — their blood in on their heads.”
