Ireland has historically been known as a Catholic and Christian nation. It’s famous for St. Patrick and the legend of him blessing the land and driving away the snakes, after all.
Though modern Ireland is a much different story. Not only was abortion legalized several years ago, but woke ideology is also spreading in numerous other ways.
The latest example of woke extremist nonsense out of Ireland is so shocking that it is almost unbelievable.
Irish Teacher Going To Jail For Not Using Trans Pronouns
Enoch Burke is an Irish history teacher, who also teaches the German language. He was a teacher at Wilson School in Westmeath, Ireland up until he said he wouldn’t refer to one of his students who was a boy as a girl.
Burke is an evangelical Christian and does not agree with the transgender belief system. He refused to call the confused young boy a girl and for this “crime,” he was suspended from his job at Wilson.
The school knew he wasn’t happy about it; so they got an actual court order to make it illegal for him to come back.
The problem is Burke refused to accept the ruling and returned to the private school to continue teaching. He was then arrested for breaking the court order and will now be heading to jail.
Burke’s response has been this “insane” situation will not cause him to back down or be intimidated.

Jail for Hurt Feelings
Let’s be honest here, Burke is being persecuted for his religious beliefs. He is being told that hurting someone’s feelings is a crime and will literally be behind bars for it.
Of course, as we all know this only goes in one direction: the far left direction. Students, teachers, and institutions are free to hurt the feelings of and actively persecute Christians, white people, and conservatives as much as they like.
In fact, they get applauded for it. The young student who Burke wouldn’t placate suffers from a disorder called gender dysphoria. Calling him a girl won’t fix that disorder; in fact, it will just worsen it.
The sick society and woke extremism that wants to abuse, mislead, and groom kids needs to be stopped. If that means going to jail, so be it. Burke is brave for not backing down.

The Bottom Line
As Burke said, the idea of referring to a boy as a girl is against his own beliefs and all common sense. He simply won’t do it.
He’s one hundred percent correct here. The reason this is so important is this is how totalitarian communism always starts.
Cultural communism is no joke. It eventually means to push anyone who won’t comply to their absolute limit and take away everything they have. It’s time to stand up to them and stop them.
