Yesterday marked the final day of the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The four-day GOP conference comprised a lengthy series of Republican public figures, conservative personalities, and others who are part of the conservative movement.
Throughout the duration of CPAC 2021, leftists spent time trashing the conference, tying it to the January 6 insurrection, and otherwise criticizing the speakers. Republicans, on the other hand, focused on policy, strategies, and goals for the future of the GOP.
On Sunday, former President Donald Trump took the stage at CPAC 2021. During the 45th president’s closing speech, he delivered well-received and passionate remarks about America, politics, and the future of the Republican Party, as Breitbart News confirms.
A Review of Trump’s CPAC 2021 Speech
The former president’s first public appearance since departing from the White House went off without a hitch. Trump discussed the importance of working families in America before slamming the Biden administration’s “callous indifference” towards children in need of returning to schools.
After also calling out the Biden administration for opening borders and putting Americans last, Trump dispelled any rumors about him potentially starting a third party. Following his declaration that starting a third party would only divide the Republican vote, Trump explained that the GOP does need to expel RINOs.

For quite some time, many Americans have wondered whether or not Trump will run for president again in the 2024 presidential race. Yesterday, the former president did not outrightly confirm that he’d seek another term in the White House; however, Trump did hint at the possibility of a 2024 run for the presidency.
Reactions to Trump’s CPAC 2021 Speech
The CPAC audience, along with other Republicans and conservatives across the nation, cheered the former president’s speech last night. Trump supporters also took to social media, stating that they miss Trump and believe that he ought to run for office again in 2024.

Following Trump’s remarks yesterday, a poll of potential 2024 candidates quickly spread online. The 45th president hit first place in the poll, with Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis in second place. Some Trump supporters even stated that should the former president run for office again in 2024, DeSantis ought to be his running mate.
There are also conservatives who believe that the Florida governor should consider running for president in the 2024 race.
