Tulsi Gabbard informed she is leaving the Democrat Party. In a video posted on her YouTube channel, Gabbard claimed the Democrat Party is now the home of an “elitist cabal,” which has destroyed it.
Tulsi Gabbard is No Longer a Democrat
Gabbard announced to quit the Democrat Party in a series of tweets and a YouTube video, claiming the party is becoming a warmongering entity that tries to radicalize every issue.
Likewise, Gabbard added Democrats are cowardly introducing a woke agenda in every field, not to mention they are also involved in propagating racism against white Americans.
Furthermore, Gabbard advised other moderate Democrats to leave the party. According to the former congresswoman, the government was supposed to protect the interests of the people, as this is the true definition of democracy.
Instead, Democrats are serving the interests of the powerful elite by compromising the needs of the people.
While Gabbard has been criticizing Democrats for many years, she became more vocal after retiring from the House of Representatives in 2021.
Since then, she has publicly denounced the Democrat Party, particularly Biden, on her YouTube channel as well as on different media outlets.
Gabbard not only bashed Biden for his domestic performance, but also for his poor foreign policies. As per Gabbard, Biden is destroying American interests with his poor foreign policy in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Tulsi Gabbard also said that the modern-day party is busy suppressing God’s given freedom to American families. Similarly, Democrats are helping criminals and troubling law enforcement agencies who want to protect Americans, as per Gabbard.

Apart from that, Gabbard also criticized Democrats for keeping the borders open for illegal immigration, using government machinery to suppress political opponents, and bringing the US to the brink of nuclear war.
However, Gabbard did not announce whether she would join the Republican Party or remain an Independent politician.
Conservatives Congratulate Gabbard for Leaving Democrats
Many conservative political commentators also congratulated Gabbard on leaving the Democrat Party. One journalist, Meghan McCain, noted that only a few independent thinkers are now left in this world and Gabbard is one of them.
Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich appreciated Gabbard for leaving the party. Gingrich asserted that Gabbard voted with Democrats on all the important issues, but the current structure of the party forced her to make a sane decision.

Even when she wanted to become president, Gingrich continued, Gabbard was isolated from the rest of the candidates as the Democrat Party was turning towards an extremist organization that sidelined moderate people.
In addition to that, Gingrich stated many Latinos are also parting their ways with Democrats, due to the lack of sensible ideology in the modern-day party.
Gabbard previously served in the US military, where she was deployed to Iraq in 2004 and 2005.
