Will Donald Trump Start a New Party?

Personally, I don’t think Trump will do it. I suspect the advice given to him by those closest to him is to continue with his agenda through the newly formed Office of the Former President.

His supporters, however (people who are loyal to Trump and not the Republican party), are looking for a sign or direction from their leader. It’s worth saying tho, whatever Trump decides to do, the attention of absolutely everyone will be on him.

Do we need a new party or a rebrand of the Republican party?

There is certainly a case to be made for a new party. Moderate Democrats and Republicans tired of the old establishment and need a new political home. This home will unite the Americans who are upset with the vast divide between the parties and the aging bureaucrats calling the shots in DC.

Regardless, the Republican party does need a rebrand and a fresh new start before the next election. This is partly due to the massive smear campaign by the liberal media after January 6th, but also due to the fact that the Republican party is run by old men who have clearly lost touch with the will of the party, namely Mitch McConnell who is seen as a backstabber by some 70 million Trump Supporters.

Should Trump start a new party, He would need to pick the right running mate, preferably an ex-Democrat, that way renegades from each party would mean the new organization will not split the Republicans as many fear but split the Democrats as well. Tulsi Gabbard comes to mind.

There are benefits to Trump’s Twitter ban, any good political strategist, or student of history will tell you, if you suppress and silence your opponents, you drive them underground. An invisible enemy is far more dangerous than the one you can see because they are in your blindspot. Right now, liberals don’t watch conservative media, they have censored Trump on their platforms and they tried to delete our apps. When Trump makes his move, it will come as a surprise to everyone who was ignorant enough to ignore him.

The advantage of being in the media’s eye is that it is essentially free marketing. Trump has benefited from this greatly, especially in his 2016 campaign. However this time the advantage is still in his favor despite the opposite occurring. Whatever happens in the coming months or even years, rest assured, the left will rue the day they silenced him, the strategic advantage lies with Donald Trump, and it always has.
