Illegal immigration seems like a huge issue for them both.

Based on the current state of affairs Chicago sure needs to change out those in charge! Perhaps replacing them with tough on criminals representatives instead of the weak kneed wasted space officials in place now!
Politically speaking Chicago is underwriting its own demise. Biden’s visit will be nothing but a gathering of the politico’s that are profiting from this demise. Also from the potential of destroying the south side and lowering property values so low that what is called Gentrification will take place. The vultures are circling and when they get that property they will then construct a new high rise and high rent district, not for the poor, but for those who will need lots of security and can afford it. All part of the Marxist division that is going on in America, with Chicagoans decidedly not in the loop about what is likely going on. As long as they keep swilling the propaganda they will stay in the loop of self destruction. Just saying.
