I’m missing something here. If iLauren’s 18 year old son was driving a car and caused over $1,000- damage to another person’s property, the only reason I can think of that Lauren should incur any liability would be if he were driving her car with her permission. Otherwise, he, as an adult, should be fully responsible for his own actions. Even then, her insurance should have paid. If he was doing something unlawful, that should still be on him.
