Yet, as we have seen time and time again, it is the Democrats who have a dark history of racism and discrimination, from their support of the Jim Crow laws to their glorification of Confederate symbols.

Furthermore, let’s not forget that the KKK is a fringe group that does not represent the beliefs of the vast majority of conservatives. As a matter of fact, it is the principles of limited government, individual liberty, and free markets that attract people to the Republican party – ideals that are antithetical to the KKK’s message of hate and bigotry.
As a conservative, I condemn any form of racism and discrimination. And while we must acknowledge and learn from our country’s dark history, we cannot allow it to dictate our present and future. The Republican party stands for progress and inclusivity, not the divisive rhetoric of the KKK.
