In a shocking incident, an Alaska man has been arrested and federally charged for allegedly making interstate threats to kidnap and injure a current US Senator. The accused, Arther Graham, 46, reportedly threatened to murder an unidentified female senator and ‘wear her skin’ as clothes on a web form page submission in September.
Graham was apprehended by special agents from the U.S. Capitol Police and FBI last month and is currently being held at the Anchorage Correctional Complex in Alaska. If found guilty of the federal charges, he could face imprisonment for up to five years.

The threat made by Graham read: ‘Well, it’s after business hours and my landlady hasn’t delivered the eviction papers yet like she promised…I’m gonna cut off your skin and wear it as clothes.’

While the only female senator in Alaska is Lisa Murkowski, a Republican, it is unlikely that the threats were directed towards her as Graham is charged with making interstate threats, indicating that aspects of the crime crossed state lines. Graham had identified himself in the web submission using his complete name, email address, phone number, and home address.
